Web design from the heart of Bristol

Disphoria Design produces tailored websites for small to medium sized companies, charities and community groups in the South West.

A Tailored Solution

Working closely with you to understand your website’s needs and goals, we produce sites that are visually rich and engaging, but also useful tools, whether for selling your products, booking appointments or promoting your brand.

Putting You in Control

Our websites are designed to be easy to edit and update by you, and we provide training to help you manage your website content.

We also provide advice and information about the changing nature of web design and  online marketing, to help you to make your own informed decisions about your website.

Our pricing is fair, transparent and agreed before any work is started, so you can be sure that your website will fit your budget without any hidden or unexpected costs.

A Comprehensive Package

We supply a complete package of web design and development:

  • Domain registration & setup
  • Hosting on a fast managed Virtual Private Server
  • A professional mail address eg. info@yourdomain.com
  • SEO: Search Engine Optmisation to increase your audience
  • Connection to Google Analytics and Google Search Console so you can monitor your visitors

Web Design

It is essential that you feel in control of your website, so we involve you in the design process and ensure that you feel confident to edit and create content on your website.

For this reason, we use WordPress, a very customisable and flexible Content Management System, that can be turned into an online store, event booking site, brochure site, portfolio showcase, blog, or in fact, pretty much anything you want it to be. WordPress has been designed to be easy to edit. Most importantly, it has basic SEO, accessibility and web standards built into it, so it won’t exclude visitors or upset Google.

Commissioning a website can be a daunting process when there is so much to learn, so we make sure that we explain everything clearly so you can make informed decisions.

Logo Design

Our first step in logo design is to talk and listen closely to the client to understand the vision behind the brand and to learn about the target audience.

A combination of research, intuition, discussion and revision goes into these logos, although the goal is to create a logo that is simple and memorable, to look good at different sizes and in different situations:
